My Testimony

There was a time in my life when I wondered if God could ever use someone like me.

I grew up in church, but that didn't mean life was easy. As a child, I struggled with dyslexia and hearing difficulties. I battled anger, insecurity, and a deep feeling of being unloved. Those struggles eventually led me down a path of rebellion, and as a teenager, I ran away from home, searching for acceptance in all the wrong places.

But God never stopped pursuing me.

He lovingly brought me back home to a praying mother who never gave up believing God for me and a stepfather who chose to love me through my rebellion. Looking back, I can clearly see that even when I was running from God, He was running toward me.

Although I knew about Jesus, I hadn't fully surrendered my life to Him. For years, I tried to do things my own way, and the result was heartache, disappointment, and a broken marriage. Through that painful season, God began drawing me to Himself in a deeper way.

In December 2003, I made the most important decision of my life—I surrendered everything to Jesus Christ.

That day changed my life forever.

God didn't simply forgive my sins; He began transforming my heart. He replaced my anger with His peace, my hopelessness with His promises, and my brokenness with His healing. Step by step, He has taught me what it means to trust Him, follow Him, and live for His glory.

The road hasn't always been easy, but God has never failed me. Through every trial, every victory, and every unanswered question, He has remained faithful. His grace has carried me through seasons when I was weak, and His love has never let me go.

Today, I am incredibly blessed with a godly husband, three wonderful children, and an amazing son-in-law. My family is a daily reminder of God's redeeming power and His ability to restore what once seemed broken beyond repair.

One of the greatest gifts God has given me is the opportunity to write songs that glorify Him. Every lyric I write is an expression of gratitude for His faithfulness. My prayer is that these songs will encourage believers, point people to the hope found in Jesus Christ, and remind others that no one is beyond the reach of God's amazing grace.

If my story teaches anything, it is this:

God is still in the business of changing lives.

No matter where you've been, what you've done, or how far you've wandered, Jesus Christ offers forgiveness, hope, healing, and a brand-new beginning. He did it for me, and He can do it for you.
